Single Jet Capillary Emitter E1

 

The single jet is formed by a thin capillary needle, in the throat of which a small drop of spinning mixture is continuously produced. There are enormous electrostatic forces here, so this type of emitter is capable of spinning materials which are otherwise hard to spin. Emitter E1 is primarily used in the early development of a new material, when the spinning solution and the morphology of the fibers are being optimized, regardless of throughput. The E1 emitter can also be accompanied by an air duct feeding air at a controlled temperature and throughput to the area immediately around the droplet (electroblowing).
