The collecting sliding tool consists of a hollow cube, in which, in two positions, there is a sliding base panel. This tool is used to move between the thin wires of the static (C2) or rotating (C4) patterned collector on which the nanofibers are deposited. During this movement, the fibers are deposited on the edges of the hollow cube. The base panel is retracted inside the hollow cube during this movement. In the next step, piston action extends the base panel out of the hollow cube, and fibers are collected on its surface. This is a repeating process.

The main features:

Fibers are deposited on the base panel with highly precise alignment

When rotated 90 degrees, layers of perpendicular fibers are formed

Improves the directional alignment parameter

Designed for easy handling of nanofiber layers designed for direct application
